BryanLGH and Lincoln Orthopaedic Center are excited to announce a new partnership - one that can provide improved sports medicine coverage to area high schools.
The goal is to provide schools with expanded coverage and resources for athletes and coaches. In order to offer this extended athletic training coverage, a select number of schools will be chosen.
Features include, but are not limited to:
Expanded practice and game preparation
Additional game coverage
IMPACT concussion management system
Electronic injury management tracking
Follow-up care within 24-48 hours (when needed)
Educational talks for staff, parents and athletes
Doug Tewes, MD, is the medical director; Corey Courtney, ATC, LAT is director of sports medicine outreach. Corey has more than 15 years of experience and is head athletic trainer for the Lincoln Stars and Lincoln Saltdogs.
