Dr. Gardner pursued his undergraduate education at Portland State University. He attended Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and graduated with honors. Dr. Gardner completed internal medicine residency and a cardiovascular fellowship including interventional cardiology at the Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland in 1996.
Dr. Gardner is board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology. He is a fellow in the American College of Cardiology and has been recognized several times as one of America's Best Cardiologists by the Consumer's Research Council of America. His special interests are in coronary and peripheral interventions and pacemaker implantations.
