Discharge
When you are ready to be discharged from the hospital your physician will write a discharge order. Your nurse will consult with you about any at-home care or additional dismissal orders.
Insurance
We will file your account with your insurance carrier. We encourage you to keep in contact with your insurance company to ensure prompt processing of your claim.
We allow 45 days for your insurance company to process your claim before billing you directly. We appreciate payment in full for any balance not covered by insurance. If you cannot pay in full, please contact us at (402) 826-7936 for payment options.
Uninsured Accounts
For the uninsured, it is ultimately the responsibility of the patient or guarantor for full payment of the account. Payment options are available. Please contact the billing office at (402) 826-1936 for payment options.
Financial Concerns
If you are concerned that you cannot afford to pay your hospital bill, please contact our billing office at (402) 826-1936. We have need-based financial help available.
Method of Payment
We accept cash, personal checks, VISA, Discover and Master Card for payment. Contact the business office at (402) 826-1936 with any questions or concerns.
Charges
You can expect to receive a bill from the medical center for your hospital stay. You will also receive separate bills from your physician and other consultants who aided in your diagnosis and treatment (radiologist, anesthesiologist, etc.).
