Knowledge leads to a rapid and successful recovery. The more you know, the more you gain. Education is all-inclusive in the Joint Academy; our Joint Replacement Class will ensure that you are fully prepared for total joint replacement surgery.
 A registered nurse will provide all the information you need to prepare for surgery and rehabilitation. Classes last about two hours and will help you understand the surgical process and what you can expect after surgery.
The information taught in our classes, designed specifically for our patients, is reviewed by Lincoln orthopedic surgeons and is not available anywhere else in the city.
- Total knee replacement class is held on Tuesdays at 6-8 p.m. and Wednesdays at 1-3 p.m.
- Total hip replacement class is held on Tuesdays at 1-3 p.m.
