Clinical Sites for the School of Nursing
While the Nebraska State Board of Nursing regulations limit acute care faculty/student ratios to 1:10, with 1:8 preferred, the School of Nursing strives to maintain a 1:7 ratio to provide the type and quality of experiences that have resulted in outstanding pass rates on licensure examinations and employer satisfaction with graduates.
This low ratio provides for accessibility of faculty to students. The School of Nursing has numerous clinical sites in rural, urban, and community health settings, allowing students to learn the various multifaceted role of the registered nurse.
