Atrial Fibrillation: An Overview
February 9, 7-8:30pm
Atrial Fibrillation (AF or afib) is the most common irregular heart rhythm, affecting 2.2 million Americans. Afib is a condition that can cause a stroke and is very dangerous because there are so many potential triggers to consider - in some people it's simply drinking a cold beverage after exercise, for others it's coffee or alcohol, while others don't see any specific trigger points. Join Dr. Michael Kutayli, cardiologist from the BryanLGH Heart Institute, as he gives an overview of atrial fibrillation, diagnosis and treatment options available. Pre-registration is required here.
